Ace team members, vendor partners and consumers walk for kids
Posted June 27, 2008
On Sunday, June 15, more than 80 Ace team members, vendor partners and consumers gathered in downtown Chicago for Children’s Memorial Hospital’s Loop the Loop for Kids 5K Run/Walk. This special event raised more than $100,000 to support the Children’s Memorial Fund, which will ensure Children’s Memorial can continue to provide children with access to the best pediatric specialists, the latest technologies and the most innovative programs.
The Ace/Madden team raised more than $20,000 for Children’s Memorial. Many of these participants were walking for Macy, daughter of Michelle Ganz (Madden Communications) who is currently being treated at Children’s. The stormy start to the day could not damper the group’s spirit and commitment to the many children that this event will help. A special thanks to everyone who “weathered the storms” and still smiled at the finish line. You all make miracles happen for kids.
