From the Ace/CMN Hawaii Shoot Out to other events, GE has worked with Ace in raising funds for children.
“It’s been a great partnership — not just from a business standpoint, but we’ve had the privilege and honor of working jointly to support Children’s Miracle Network,” said Beth Foster, national accounts manager for GE Lighting. “We’re grateful for the recognition, but it really goes to Children’s Miracle Network and the work it does to help so many people. We just hope to be able to continue to help Ace in its work to help Children’s Miracle Network organization.”
The merger of the Edison Electric Company and the Thomson Houston Company formed the General Electric Company on April 15, 1892. Led by President and CEO Jim Campbell, GE Consumer & Industrial is a $14 billion global business with 60,000 employees in more than 100 locations.
Henkel
The Ace Foundation is giving back to a long-time supporter of Children’s Miracle Network by naming Henkel a Vendor of the Year. Henkel has supported CMN for many years through the Ace Vendor Golf Outing and the Ace/CMN Tour de Kids, benefiting Children's Miracle Network.
“We’ve participated in almost every major initiative I can think of,” said Brian Hippler, national account manager for Henkel. “The core values of Children’s Miracle Network and our company are aligned. The kids I’ve met over the years are the real beneficiaries. We’re just pleased to be a part of it.”
Henkel, based in Düsseldorf, Germany, has about 53,000 employees worldwide and is among the most internationally aligned German-based companies in the global marketplace. People from 125 countries trust in brands and technologies from Henkel. The company is organized into three globally operating business sectors: Laundry and home care; cosmetics and toiletries; and adhesives technologies.
“We hope our collective efforts can continue to support organizations such as Children’s Miracle Network that have a need, are relevant to us, and important to our customers,” he said. “We hope we can do those things in the future as companies like Henkel and Ace continue to partner and help their local communities.”
